Day One

So lets start with my goals:
  • Lose weight
  • Change my eating habits
  • Exercise
How will I do it? If I restrict myself with a diet I will never stick to it. I need to change the way my entire family eats, plan menus, eat more fruits and vegetables, downsize on my portions. I am going to keep this as a journal of what I eat daily and how much activity I get. I would like to lose 50 lbs and excercise 4 times per week. I used Web.MD to find recommended calories, heart rate, BMI. The recommendation for calories was only 1222, I think I will aim for that but not get worked up if I do not achieve it daily. So lets start with the food journal.

Today: 
  • Light Bluberry Yogurt 80c
  • Slim fast Shake 190c
  • Healthy Choice meal 270c
  • fresh jicama 25c
so far 565c leaving 657c for dinner and a snack, thats pretty good.

Dinner: Tuna salad sandwich with 2 Tbs mayo on rye bread 315c
Eveneing snack Sugar free choc pudding 120c

Total for the day 1000c even WOW! and I was not even hungry.

I also exercised on the treadmill for 20min at 3.0mph
